Oceanwings water wet suit allows divers to 'fly'.
It's something straight out of a superhero movie... The Oceanwings underwater wet suit allows the wearer to seemingly fly through the water, no swimming required.
An online video for the wetsuit depicts a diver exploring a reef. With his limbs outstretched, he effortlessly flies through the water without kicking his feet or moving his arms.
The designer created the suit for Aqua Lung Dream Lab.
It was inspired by sky jumping gear and the wetsuit allows for a similar, limbs wide open descent. Webbed wings between the arms and legs allow for a gliding experience.
The neoprene fins assist in small limb movements to help easily change direction. The designer states "The wingsuit is one of the most popular icons of our society, realizing the oldest human dream - flying."
Thanks to the futuristic design, underwater enthusiasts can navigate through tiny crevices with just a subtle twist of the body.
The suit is classified as more of an art piece than a product, as an Aqua Lung authority says the wings will never be put up for sale.
